Nearly all these good reviews are very likely solicited by the manager.This is NOT a gated community, if it was it would have a GATE. The only gate goes to the park and its been broken for months. Anyone can walk on or drive into the property.Ive seen 2 different homeless guys charging their phones in the basement parking area. Ive seen another 2 homeless guys jump the fence to the pool to \"bathe\". They are harmless, but theres no security.When you tour dont forget to ask about the German Cockroaches. They nest in the walls, really tough to manage. Ive had the Pest Control (every 2 weeks-not every week) and I do a better job with what I can buy at Home Depot.Cars get broken into all the time-theres no security around the building. My car was STOLEN off the property before this manager started.Even though this is \"affordable living\" and owned by Travis County, rent goes up 10-20% every year, thats a lot for fixed incomes. Ive been here for 2.5 years there have been no upgrades.Maintenance guy is good. Raising to 2 stars, but no way this is a 4 star property.Look around before you commit. more ... hide ...

This complex is the most roach infested place ever on earth so I moved here some years ago my mom was wheel chair bound not knowing this was a problem maintenance people stay in your house but cant come in the time of n eed. Went out of town and came back my apartment was damn near cleaned out from their maintenance people coming in my house stealing my clothes shoes and what have you I reported to the office the lady told me there was nothing they could do now mind u I have a front door that had easy assets my patio was jammed with an object so it wouldnt lock so my advice to anyone look at this place look past it.Mountain Ranch under new management hopefully you care about your tenants better than the old crew. more ... hide ...
