Im giving it two stars instead of one only because it wasnt so bad here with previous management. Apartments are decent enough, there are bugs though. Reaching anyone in the leasing office seems impossible. There is neve r anyone there and they dont return phone calls. I began contacting management in October because the heat will not work on my window unit, not to mention that its ancient and covered in mold. Ive been calling repeatedly to have it replaced and just a couple weeks ago they gave me a space heater. The only contact Ive had is with the maintenance man, he is great and advised me he told management I needed a new one and this was a month ago, still nothing!! If i could give zero stars I would. Section 8 resident here. Went through the whole application and inspection process. They had to spray for roaches after the first inspection. OHFA approved them after the second inspec tion, signed papers, and went back the next day to start moving in. Found roaches. Told management and left for the day. Never moved our stuff in because every single time we went over there, we found roaches. Manager kept insisting that they were gonna spray. I have bags of roaches from 3 different times in a 5 week time period that we found them at the apartment. Filed a complaint with OHFA and figured theyd arrange another inspection to clear stuff. I found this out from my caseworker, OHFA has NEVER had an inspect failure, so they didnt know how to terminate the lease for someone that never ended up moving in. In the end, OHFA terminated the lease without an inspection (not our choice) and gave us a new voucher. Redbud refused to give us our deposit back (because we terminated the lease) despite them being at fault for not keeping up the OHFA standards. NEVER ever live there. more ... hide ...

This place is horrible. Roaches and bedbugs infest the apartments.There are bootleggers and loan sharks and drug dealers living in the building, all of which the management is aware.Discrimination and intimidation agains t tenants who were previously homeless and are afraid to speak up for themselves for fear of becoming homeless again. more ... hide ...

This was the worst place I have ever lived. My kids couldnt go outside to play because if they did they would get bullied and hit. They were called racist because we are white. My children didnt know what that me ant until we lived there. It was learned behavior by the other children that lived there. The staff did nothing to put a stop to it! And not to mention the roaches! I never had roaches before. Luckily I didnt take them with me when I moved! more ... hide ...
