Poorly managed and poorly maintained.Contractors exploit the situation with band aid fixes that ensures they will have repeat visits.I have lived here for 6 years. I am clean and have never been late paying the rent. As a reward for being a good resident, they moved a man who was very unclean next door to me. He was a roach factory and I had to combat him for a year and a half buying my own pest control products. Management showed a total lack of concern for a year and a half.Plantation answer: \"It takes time to evict someone\".They have an exterminator that doesnt exterminate. He just continues to get paid for nothing.When HUD inspects, it is only a superficial inspection and they intentionally dont look around too much. So HUD is enabling a slumlord.The building is run like a prison institution/plantation.Management will not honor its end of the lease. It has had only female property managers for the last 22 years (according to the 70 year old janitor), which has to be the result of discrimination toward males.Poor or no background checks have allowed felons to gain residency. There has been a new manager since fall of 2016. There has been modest change; but not nearly enough.I have about 100 photos of filth, constant water damage, mold, and roach carcasses in the hallways.My apartment itself is very nice. I keep it that way. There are too many residents who are not clean and make messes as if they are grey-headed juvenile delinquents. I survive it all by staying in my apartment.I would advise looking elsewhere for suitable housing. more ... hide ...

Dont move to northlake hills. For starters they have roaches and even though the pest control people come out its not helping but they got new stairs outside. The lil kids ALWAYS knockin on my door especially since i lea ve at the bottom. My neighbors are loud and she spit in my face (REMIND YOU IM PREGNANT) i asked for a transfer and Eric told me no so im being harrassed by my neighbors all day everyday and constantly smell weed and some other burning smell. Ive called corporate multiple times on them they recently had a real live terriost get caught out here and there lake is VERY horrible the old maintaince man steals things out of your apartment so you might wanna install in house cameras and honestly they dont care they just want rent if your working. Im not dirty i have 2 lil ones an 1 on the way and if i could move right this second i would. Dont even waste your time or effort.. more ... hide ...
