I had gone to the Rahway facility to use the pool, however, on many occasions the water was too cold. I waited to see if this would be fixed yet it wasn't. I informed the staff members of this but there was no change. So I decided to end my membership at that point. I phoned and the YMCA director Leonardo from the Elizabeth facility answered and it was not an easy conversation. He was very unprofessional. He stated that I had to go to the facility to sign a paper and would be charged an additional month. I asked him how they could charge me an extra month if I was not pleased with the service at YMCA. He simply said he was sorry but that was the rule. I was hoping he would comprehend my predicament and let me terminate my membership.
