Windfield Senior Estates is situated in a nice location in Hadley MA with easy access to all the stores and shopping off Rte 9 The senior building has been recently updated by new Management with hardwood titles in the common areas along with new fu Windfield Senior Estates is situated in a nice location in Hadley MA with easy access to all the stores and shopping off Rte 9 The senior building has been recently updated by new Management with hardwood titles in the common areas along with new furnishings and washer and dryers However sadly to say residents do not live in these areas but rather in their own apartments here you will NOT find the apartments are conducive to those seniors confined to wheelchairs Kitchen and bath counters are too high Bathrooms are too small and do not allow room to maneuver in if confined to a wheel chair The tube area is not a walkin tube and requires one to have to step up into the tube The entrance into the main door has a long sidewalk that makes it totally impossible to get up in a wheelchair unless you have a motorized one So if you are a senior needing a rental accommodation for a handicap senior look elsewhere Many are still questioning why this facility is catagorized as Senior Estates more ... hide ...
