They just sit there all day like chickens, spitefully tearing people to shreds with vile language and ridiculous tales. If someone dies in an apartment, the other residents don't show sadness for the loss of their friend, they just immediately start to claim the belongings of the passed away. Even if you leave the apartment in better condition than when you moved in, you won't get your security deposit back-make sure you double-check the Iowa Landlord/Tenant laws to ensure you fulfilled all your obligations since they just want to take the money for themselves. Nothing ever gets repaired, just replaced and painted over. If you have an urgent nighttime problem don't bother calling, you'll just get yelled at-allow whichever issue it is to resolve itself or mess up the apartment. I recommend you snap pictures and go through everything with a magnifying glass like all discolorations, openings, etcetera-they will try to blame them on you later.
