Apartments are not bad at all Management is horrible Leasing agent Brandy is amazing she definitely does all to help anyone Would go to her before I went to either of the managers She saved my sister from her utilities been disconnected

MORE AFFORABLE APARTMENTS ROANOKE , VA 24017

	FERNCLIFF SOUTH (1.4/5) (540) 366 - 5255 3666 FERNCLIFF AVE NW , ROANOKE , VA 24017 Housing types: Low Income Apartments buildings / Section 8 vouchers accepted total apartment units: 156, assisted housing category: subsidized, no hud financing, contract term: 240 months, hfda/8 nc , between 80% & 100% fmr, 1bedroom Tracy Huffman (1.9/5) I recently settled into Ferncliff South and I'm quite pleased with my two bedroom apartment (hence the three stars). However, the structure I moved into has to be the worst in the complex. However, the structure I moved into has to be the worst in the complex. The family who lives above me on the second floor is the noisiest, most unruly, and discourteous group in the whole complex. The kids stomp the floor so hard that it shakes the ceiling light fixtures, stove eyes, and I even feel the vibrations in my feet. I worry that the downstairs neighbor might think it's me. The adults quarrel, yell, and swear at each other in front of the children. Just three or four days after I arrived, I noticed a bullet hole in one of my living room windows. A few months ago, I lived in an apartment on the North side and it was nothing like this. I'm deeply disappointed that the South side is nothing like the North. I'm regretting not having waited longer for an apartment on the North side. I'm living in an absolute nightmare every day. It is not especially noisy and they are relatively quick with the maintenance. The management is helpful and friendly. My AC went out in June on a Thursday night and that Friday was expected to be in the upper 90s. We put in a service request and called and left a voice mail. Jill emailed back as soon as she was in office, mentioned that she put in a service request as well and that she would make sure maintenance came and saw us first thing.
