I arrived here when every other option was worse than a senior residence, and it exceeded my apprehensive and low expectations. I consider this place to be a resort. My apartment has wooden floors, a stainless kitchen sink, and all the appliances are modern and efficient (I had never had that combination before). Anything that needs to be mended is fixed. It is peaceful and pleasant. The building is made of cement/cinder-block and is the quietest apartment building I've ever inhabited. (Neighbors are neighbors. Even yelling from the adjacent apartment sounds like a faint, muffled TV that one needs to focus on in order to hear.) The Home Forward management team has been nothing but helpful ever since I moved in. There are continuous programs that provide seniors and disabled individuals with services to bring down rent, food, energy, and/or utility expenses. All of this needs to abide by government regulations; I'm sure the posts are not highly paid, yet again the people in charge here have exceeded my apprehensive expectations. Even with a few management issues during the pandemic, nothing collapsed. As long as Republicans don't take control of it, I will keep living here happily. more ... hide ...

Management is useless along with Maintenance There are at least three broken down cars in Handicapped parking spots and one has been there over a year People have complained but nothing has been done There are people living there that really should Management is useless along with Maintenance There are at least three broken down cars in Handicapped parking spots and one has been there over a year People have complained but nothing has been done There are people living there that really should be in Assisted living There have been floods in apartments due to human error and nothing is done about it Also people steel others mail people have urinated in the elevators and have defecated under the car park Security is a joke I dont even think the security cameras work Repairs dont get done in a timely mater or at all There are several homeless who live on the street right outside the building and nothing is done about it People who live here let them into the building and it causes problems So I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE LIVING HERE IF THEY CAN HELP IT more ... hide ...
