I have lived here on and off since 2000 I would like to give a shoutout to Mrs Garrett She has definitely cleaned this place up Im amazed at the people in the office and maintenance This is so quiet and people actually respect the property

This is the worst complex I have ever lived in. When youre excited about moving some things you dont pay attention to, but once I was in my apartment, unpacking I started to notice things. My apartment had been spot painted, my walls are so messed up to the point where I dont even hang pictures because it looks so horrible, I bleached my cabinets and their still stained I dont even use my drawers in neither one of my bathrooms because they are so filthy and thats after bleaching them. All my windows in my home are molded, my bath tub is molded, my patio door is molded, and etc. I have bleached these areas and even brought mildew/mold cleaner from Lowes. Ive cleaned the spots and it always comes back. Living in those conditions is very unhealthy and can cause serious health issues. The apartments are old and need UPGRADING. The buildings and porches need to be pressure hosed. I am so shame of my apartment that I dont even invite company over because when you drive in the complex it looks like the GHETTO! Trash on the ground, broken blinds, sheets up to the windows, and etc. They give you car decals when you first move in but why? Because they dont enforce it, you come home from work and cant get a park. It does no justice to contact the office about any situations you have because the first thing the property manager says is \"Well I can let you out your lease\". Mr. Derrick is rude and very unprofessional. I moved in this complex back in September of this year and it has been nothing but pure hell since I stepped foot in here. I have pictures for anyone that needs to see. DO NOT MAKE THIS PLACE YOUR HOME! PLEASE RUN! I hate to say this but I have to agree with a post I saw somewhere else \"SOUTHAVEN IS TRULY THE GHETTO NOW\". Ive contacted news stations and the health department since management/regional cant help me. In the process of trying to get refunded, because this is very unacceptable. The staffing in the office is horrible, if you dont have people skills you need to find a new occupation. Now I see why everybody says Ms. Chiquita doesnt care.
