I moved in on March 26, 2021 and they wouldn't let me get my keys because they needed to "replace the carpet". It hadn't been cleaned or replaced - it was covered in stains from the previous tenants. The sliding door was clear, but the non-moving one was cloudy. They failed to tell me that I was moving into an apartment that had experienced a shootout the year before. My dishwasher never worked from the start. The apartment had a musty smell when I moved in, and there were even a few bullets in the walls from the previous tenants. The kitchen water faucet was cemented on under the sink, so when it split in half, I couldn't turn it off. My lease states that I'm supposed to pay $730 a month, plus whatever wasn't included. So why was I charged over $760, and still had to pay for the additional services? The rules changed every other week. Trying to get things fixed was a joke; they'd tell you to put in a work order and you'd do so, but never hear back from them.
