My sliding glass door was facing 162nd and was shattered from gunfire, and when i called to tell them this they told me it would be at least two days before anyone could even come to board it up. I had to essentially hope that the gang members that shot at each other wouldnt see it and come and rob me. After leaving the apartment directly after that, I was told by new hopeful apartment managers that the old one was giving extremely negative feedback, saying i was murdering cats and hiding them in my apartment, and to never ever rent to me.I would say that the treatment I was given by that complex, and that manager, was worse than what i would receive if i had committed a crime and just went to jail for a roof over my head.Please do not put yourself through the hell I went through. more ... hide ...
