In the first two weeks of living here, almost everything broke down on me - outlets blew, the window popped out, etc. It was a struggle to get maintenance to fix them, so they were never taken care of. I was in constant fear that they would appear in my apartment without any prior warning; I would either receive a note 2-5 hours before or not at all, whereas usually it's 24-48 hours. If your air conditioner isn't working, don't expect it to be fixed for 5-7 days after you make a request, since it's not considered a priority. The complex has a huge bug issue as well; I've had ants, roaches, fruit flies, etc., but we've already mentioned it before and still no one has done anything about it. They try to spray every month, yet even that is unreliable. Furthermore, it's very hard to communicate with certain employees because of the language barrier, which can be a problem when you have issues with the roof or appliances.
