Initially, there were some illegitimate leases and the new landlord was engaging in what I can best describe I have resided in this area for around five years, when the prior Landlords sold it to new owners, things quickly took a turn for the worse. Initially, there were some illegitimate leases and the new landlord was engaging in what I can best describe as harassment. There were already pest control problems in place, but when the new owners took over, they simply ignored the tenants' attempts to attempt to keep them at bay. Now, they are trying to blame the tenants for the issue, despite it being their own negligence. During inspections, they tamper with appliances, and even when someone has seen them do it and the appliance worked beforehand, they still deny having anything to do with it. They won't fix it either, offering minor solutions instead. Additionally, they take pictures without permission, are arrogant, impolite, and unreliable. Don't rent from them. I would not recommend it. They may try to dispute this, so if you really want to know the truth, ask any of the tenants, the former Maintenance man, the peer workers at CWN, the section 8 workers at TIPP of the Mitt, or anyone else who lives in Manistee. more ...
