Karen raised my rating from 3 to 4 stars due to her willingness to go the extra mile by promptly replying to emails, leading us to the mailbox when we were confused, and providing references for potential landlords as we left. The maintenance staff also put in a great effort, coming by three times within one day in response to our request to take care of the mouse infestation. This is why I cannot give a 5-star review - the building was overrun by mice and a much more thorough extermination was required, which was not the fault of the management, who did their utmost. I saw at least one mouse daily in various parts of the apartment, regardless of the number of traps we set. It was horrendous and hazardous. On top of that, the rent was exorbitant even compared to the area's other housing. We ended up finding a much nicer 2-bed 2-bath townhouse with a balcony and private yard for $200 less than what we would have paid for a cramped 2-bed 1-bath at the Knolls. Additionally, the electric heating caused utility bills to skyrocket in the winter. Parking was also difficult to come by due to the excess of cars. In spite of all this, we appreciated the gym and the management's efforts to accommodate us in the 6 months we spent at the Knolls. more ... hide ...

2022-07-29T00:51:01ZOverall the property is very nice the staff is friendly and maintenance does a great job The buildings are old and cost a lot to heat and cool They were upfront about that but its still hard to give 5 stars when Im paying so much in electricity
