The refrigerator has been out of order for a year and three months, so food cannot be stored in it. The window and blinds have been broken for the same length of time and the common areas have not been properly cleaned since the new management company took over, with bugs and rodents roaming around. The manager doesn't live in the building, so they don't seem to care about the state of the premises. Apparently, we are not allowed to use Spectrum or any external service for the internet and we have been paying the management for this, yet we have never had access. Reports of these issues have been made on various occasions, but none of them have been addressed. The neighbours are friendly and I have made many new friends, although it can be a great place. The window is still broken and packages get stolen, so you have to file a complaint and have them delivered to another address. The quality of people has deteriorated since the manager moved out and it is no longer a safe environment. I was even forced to call the police on a tenant who was trying to break into my apartment while I was home. The police took him away but he still lives in the same building.
