When we arrived at the apartment, it was not in the condition it was supposed to be in. We had not been informed prior to our arrival, which was especially difficult due to the winter season and our two-year-old and pregnant state. We had not been informed prior to our arrival, which was especially difficult due to the winter season and our two-year-old and pregnant state. Nevertheless, we had no other option but to make do. Maintenance personnel came to the apartment over the course of the next two weeks to make necessary repairs. Throughout the duration of the lease, there were many issues, the worst of which was that the property manager was never available. Just before the lease was up, repairs were finally made and the apartment was bought out by another company. This must have caused the loss of important files as we were sent a collection notice for a "past due balance" three years later. I am now working with the collection agency to provide proof that this is a result of the prior owners' and property manager's negligence and that it should not be reflected on my and my husband's credit report. Unfortunately, they did not answer my calls or return my voicemails. I am very frustrated that I need to spend time and money on this issue. I would not recommend this apartment to anyone. Edit: This problem was successfully resolved. Jodi was very helpful in ensuring that the collection company closed the account that had been opened in error. Cant get ahold of ANYONE why put listings online If everything is Automated with 1000 different numbers SO ANNOYING Ive been reaching out for the past 2 months No answer or reply
