When the elevator is shut off, it is done so to eradicate any potential COVID-19 particles since people are not wearing masks. If the maintenance lady has a problem with you, it's because you keep taking down her signs regarding safety regulations due to COVID-19. Color or race does not matter when it comes to this virus; I've worked in medicine for almost 30 years and can guarantee that the maintenance woman is correct. If there's anything about science, data etc., that needs clarification for you to understand, I'm available 6 feet away with my mask on. Vaccines protect us from this virus – especially now with the Delta strain that could kill unvaccinated children under 12 at a rate of 2-3K each day – equivalent of 9/11 every day! Your unwillingness to cooperate might end up costing someone their life; ignorant and selfish behavior like this won't be tolerated! My apartment is wonderful, but REMEMBER TO WEAR A MASK!!
