I was an ex-tenant of this apt for about 2 yrs. I just love this place. The manager was nice and friendly. The maintenance is good with regular check up on bed bug, mold, fan system, fire alarm..etc. the check up will no t bother you much if you are the type to keep up good with the check up on your own (they wont bother your apartment except mandatory when they know you keep it well is what I mean). Insulation good plus excellent heating system. Floor is not carpet so easy to clean up (only carpet area is the building hall). The gates have security code so it pretty much safe. The only thing that stop me from coming back here because of my salary is too high for the states standard but I might try another shot later this year. more ... hide ...

Absolutely the worst place to live. They advertise it well¦¦. Ive loved here for close to 6 years. The apartment has been falling apart since day 1. They take forever to fix things due to always being short sta ffed. The office workers have horrible attitudes. And since Covid the office has been by appointment only but good luck because they NEVER answer the phone. Ive called time after time day after day and never get an answer. Theres shootings every other couple months. They repeatedly send a blast email about Future Resident & Staff parking. The whole complex itself is disgusting. Trash is forever over filled. The hill behind building L is littered with trash from residents throwing everything off their balconys. Im always walking in on somebody doing drugstore in the stairways¦¦.. Its not worth it. These guys are awful. If I could give no stars, I would. My mother, who is disabled, has paid rent on time and in full every month. Yet because the manager has decided she does not like my mother, they are trying to s end her an eviction notice. My understanding is that they are doing this in violation of Washington s fair housing laws, and have been extremely unethical about Moms situation. They also let my mom sit alone in her apartment for at least two days, despite the fact that my mom needed medical attention. This place is not at all what I thought it would be for my mom. I recommend avoiding them at all costs.UPDATE: Since writing the above post, I was able to get in touch with the lawyer for Victoria Park and learned that much of the problem I described above was due to a miscommunication and a lack of information. VP is working with my mom and me to address concerns on both sides, and we are hopefully going to reach a mutually beneficial agreement. more ... hide ...
