I wont even say that it is the apartments, aside from the paper-thin walls, theyre okay. On the other hand, Management Sucks!! I think they are the worst possible individuals that Ive ever met...I know that Ive had som e issues, but I always pay whatever is owed, and now that my daughter is gone...its a bit harder, but Im trying to stay afloat...but to make a long story short, if you dont care to hear your neighbors, or they hear you through the walls...this isnt the place to be, and if youre looking for just a bit of sympathy, well you wont get it from management. My suggestion is to keep driving pass...how I ever wanted to live here, I dont know, its been an experience from Hell!! more ... hide ...

Have lived there since week before Winter Storm, 2022. Conveniences far outweigh any little snags u might encounter.Biggest advantage to living there is safety of living in gated community. Best case scenario occurred 2 d day of winter storm, when looting was averted by younger residents, looking out for older residents. Those \"youngsters\" also helped make seniors stay comfortable as storm allowed by carrying buckets of water as mny as 3 flights for any senior who needed it.In addition to safety, location is also a positive factor. If u have no other way to get downtown, u can cross catty-corner from HomeTowne to catch Metro; there are bus stops within a block of each other than that u can sit at to go east, west, north or south.Todays economic climate is least of anyones worries if they live at HomeTowne. U neednt be trust baby or pensioner to live here. U can live in spacious comfort at HomeTowne even if ur rent is subsidized. more ... hide ...

Maintenance is terrible and the management is very poor. I have lived here over 14 years and one must be careful because Laura Lindsey claims that she doesnt accept month to month after you complete a year. She is lockin g senior citizens into signing year long least some after another. Laura and Sharon have their pick a and are allowing anyone to rent here when it is suppose to be apartments for seniors. It is now dangerous to walk around here. more ... hide ...
