The bui If I could, I would give this company a zero-star rating. They are unresponsive, often not answering the phone and even when closed, they make the line out of service so voicemails cannot be left. It is practically impossible to contact them. The building is horrendous - the stairwell is dirty with scuff marks on the walls, rarely being cleaned, cameras that do not work and alarms that go off for hours without anyone trying to shut them off. The apartment itself is nothing to write home about. The bathroom walls are deteriorating due to moisture, tiles in the kitchen and bathroom are cracked, the cabinets and appliances are old, the master bedroom window has been broken and open since December, and there is still mold residue on the kitchen ceiling from a leak that happened in November - a health hazard. Homeless people are usually on the stoop harassing people. There is also a rat infestation in the trash area close to the entrance. To make matters worse, the rent of this two-bedroom apartment has been increased from $1,550 to $2,200 - a $650 increase, a 42% rise - with no renovations or extra amenities added. They did not even give an explanation as to why they raised the rent so much. This is basically stealing, and the apartment is not worth $2,200 a month. more ... hide ...
