Sadly I had to ask these people for help after losing my place to live. I have never been so mistreated. At first several of us who had no bed were made to sit on hard metal stools at a table all night long rather than Sadly I had to ask these people for help after losing my place to live. I have never been so mistreated. At first several of us who had no bed were made to sit on hard metal stools at a table all night long rather than at least allow us to at least lie on the floor. I left because I could not stand the suffering of that. I was given admittance to a run down over crowded house in a bad neighborhood and given a bunk bed next to an insane black woman who sneered at me and called me racial names all night long...the manager did nothing about it. I became ill during the night and was kicked out with no where to go at 3am. I was disoriented and I suffered a small stroke a block a way from the house and a young man called 911 saving my life..VOA is just wretched to allow this treatment of women in the Reno area.more ...hide ...
