My mom eventually wouldnt even go up a step to the front door of our house because she no longer recognized it. She actually chose Branchbrook herself by following everyone at her daycare facility onto their jitney bus at the end of the day. Though Branchbrook is in a brownstone with stairs, she goes right up and down! I was shocked but she knows what she wants. Believe me if she doesnt want to go in somewhere she plays possum, and if she wants to leave she will keep trying every 30 seconds. She loves Branchbrook and all the people. You owe it to yourself and your loved one to try & see for yourself. I can only hope when my time comes Branchbrook or something like it will be waiting for me. Its really more like the residence called Loretto Hall, where my mom stayed when she first came to Jersey in the 40s.more ...hide ...
