My mother lived in Old Oak Tree for 3 years the manager was nice at first. Then she was very mean to me and my mother after a few months. Mother at this time had friends that she did not want to move to another place. AfMy mother lived in Old Oak Tree for 3 years the manager was nice at first. Then she was very mean to me and my mother after a few months. Mother at this time had friends that she did not want to move to another place. After three years my mother had to be moved to a full care center. The manager would not return her deposit. when we started moving her out we found mold along the a/c and heating ducts. The apartment was clean when we moved her out. One time when she was living at Olde Oak Tree I had to move most all her things out because her apartment got infested with bed bugs from another apartment. I also had to throw away a lot of her personal things. This is not a good place for your elderly parents. I have a lot of stories about the manager and the way she treated people including the maintenance man that was a life long friend that passed away because of things to do with the manager. Do not rent here if you value safety and securityI contacted the office due to mold growing in my bathroom, my concerns were not taken seriously. However eventually maintenance did come out to fix the mold, at which time they a stole a valuable piece of jewelry from my unit. I usually am not one to accuse however no one other than myself has had access to my unit other than this maintenance individual, when I attempted to file a complaint with the office due to this matter my concern was again not taken seriously, I have now had to escalate this to filling a police report. Not only has this caused me to not have my valuable family heirloom I have also lost my sense of safety and security. Clearly integrity is not prioritized here if the apartment personnel is willing to steal from residents. I was hopeful that by filling a complaint with the manager they would handle this issue accordingly and conduct a proper and thorough investigation however thus far nothing has been done.more ...hide ...
