Ive lived at northwind apartments for 4 yearsthe first year was fine but dont let domestic violence happenyoull be evicted and they will do anything and everything to have you removed

On September 7th I filled out an application with Northwinds Apartments in Gaylord represented by Michigan Asset Group out of Traverse City I also filled out and attached a 35 check for the background check I was later called and notified that there On September 7th I filled out an application with Northwinds Apartments in Gaylord represented by Michigan Asset Group out of Traverse City I also filled out and attached a 35 check for the background check I was later called and notified that there was no availability and that there was no definite timeline when there would be availability The lady I spoke to on the phone offered to shred my check but hang on to the application I agreed and stated that should something come available I would reissue a new check to complete the application process On 108 while viewing my banking statement low and behold I found a withdrawal for 35 by the Michigan Asset Group from a cashed check that was supposed to have been shredded a month earlier I have contacted Michigan Asset Group and am waiting to hear back about a refund This is not ok The check should have been shredded immediately upon completion of and even before the phone call ended Instead it has been held onto for a month more ... hide ...

The place is clean people are nice it has secure doors camera system inside and out for residents safety its right next to the walking path and snowmobile trail close to downtown for walking and dining and a new park thats going up right next to it
