I'm very content living here at Ivan Woods, and I have no qualms about our manager Sona or our maintenance guy Pat. My grievances though lie with the higher-ups in the corporate office. My grievances though lie with the higher-ups in the corporate office. Sona is really admirable; she always goes far beyond her job description. Despite being a senior citizen (which she isn't), she's usually amiable and cordial, yet she still manages to take all the moaning and complaining that the residents have in stride. When it comes to corporate though, I'm not so forgiving. We just had the parking lot resurfaced, and while I'm thankful, I think it's unfair that the front and back driveways weren't done too. Moreover, the building is in need of some updates. The troubles with the boiler and hot water are not Sona's and Pat's doing; they're due to the corporate office's avarice and their unwillingness to put money into Peak Living properties. I'd love to see a higher-up from the corporate executive office come in, rather than the regional manager, so they can get a better understanding of what's happening. Again, I'm very satisfied with the job that Sona and Pat do, and I have no issues with them.more ...hide ...
Ive lived here six monthsNothing but good things to say about this complex The manager and maintenance people are friendly and helpful Units are clean and well maintained
I lived there for several years while I worked at a job in Lansing Nothing fancy but it was affordable and the people were nice I found the staff to be quite helpful

This was a nice clean complex, untill new management took over last year....the hall way in my building is being neglected..carpets are filthy because of not being vacuumed on a regular basis, and building hallway is staThis was a nice clean complex, untill new management took over last year....the hall way in my building is being neglected..carpets are filthy because of not being vacuumed on a regular basis, and building hallway is starting to smell bad because of it, ( food, etc., Stuck to floors) .....hard to get things in building fixed now, security door wont shut properly and hasnt been fixed even after having been reported..Im even having problems with cockroaches now, where I havent had this problem in the past...more ...hide ...

I lived in Edgewood Village for 16 years, I absolutely loved living there. The office staff and maintenance personnel are very kind and understanding. They are right on top of any issue.
