There are two Birchwood Meadows Apartments, one for seniors and the disabled and the other for younger people and families. I can only speak for the senior Birchwood Meadows. No matter if I am volunteering, assisting an elderly person, or there for other community reasons, there is always one woman in management who is mean, crabby, short tempered, unhelpful, and just plain rude. I cannot tell if she hates her job, other people, or life in general. She definitely does not belong in a place that requires kindness and compassion and it would make me uneasy to leave an elderly relative alone to deal with her or be subjected to her treatment. Im giving three stars because there are other people under her that are wonderful and helpful. The units themselves are decent but dated. I definitely wouldnt look here first to find a place for someone to live based mostly on the crabby manager and her miserable interactions.more ...hide ...
