When tenants have a problem in their unit, the maintenance office takes an inordinate amount of time to resolve it, cutting corners where necessary. Even when an emergency call is placed, it may take the entire day to get it fixed. During the winter, snow is not cleared, making it difficult for elderly tenants. The water may be shut off without warning. If someone requests a new unit, they may have to wait for years before they get one. The apartments below the townhomes are often filled with mold that is not fixed unless the tenant specifically requests it. The neighbors, both adults and children, are often a problem, stealing bikes, destroying property, fighting, and other disrespectful acts.
