On 6/29/2018, a man living on the first floor passed away and his body wasn't removed until four days later on 7/2/2018. He didn't have air conditioning, so the heat began to speed up the decomposition process of his body and consequently caused an unbearable smell that filled the building. Even now, on 7/6/2018, you can still smell it in places like the hallway and our apartments. The manager, Cheryl tried to help by giving out air fresheners but it isn't enough - we need assistance from someone outside of our management (Edgewood Mgt., located in Bethesda MD) or CHAI before more people get sick from this odor or are unable to eat or sleep peacefully.
