Management claims to have added an extra elevator, but this is false; it is, in fact, the freight elevator that is always "in use" due to people moving in/out and maintenance. It is unacceptable to wait 15+ minutes just to get in/out of the building. Apologies are pointless if it will take 3+ weeks to get someone to fix the elevator. I have never encountered a property management company as terrible as this one when it comes to resident concerns. Excuses are all they offer. I regret living here, especially for the price I pay. Everything is always broken. My water is frequently shut off for "renovations". To make matters worse, these renovations start at 8am and sometimes last until 9pm (I have seen this happen). I am unable to order delivery services, for some unknown reason. It is more trouble than it is worth to live here. Do not live at 1500, under any circumstances. I've been living here for more than two years now and since Fairstead took over as the new management company in December 2021, nothing has been achieved unless it involves money. They do not answer emails and do not apply the rules in the building; moreover, the costs for apartments have risen. The elevators are usually not working and there is no update from management about when service is expected to resume; thus, it is not unusual to spend 10+ minutes each day trying to go up or down. Fire alarms often go off but management does not inform residents what the issue is or why they are ringing. Construction continues throughout the day and on weekends with no warning. Any grievances that are sent to management are answered with a meaningless reply thanking us for our patience. Those of us who are paying to live here should not be expected to be patient when these issues are causing major issues in our day-to-day lives. Management has forgotten that these are our HOMES and that we pay a lot of money to live here. Fairstead is terrible; please never rent from them. more ... hide ...

If you are seriously considering moving to 1500 locust PLZ read this The location is great but the building and management team are truly awful Water is constantly being shut off without proper notice fire alarms go off constantly but most importantl If you are seriously considering moving to 1500 locust PLZ read this The location is great but the building and management team are truly awful Water is constantly being shut off without proper notice fire alarms go off constantly but most importantly the elevators are SO slow and always down If you enjoy simple freedoms like leaving your apartment without being forced to wait 15 minutes for an elevator than this building is not for you I am not being dramatic at all I consistently have waited for an elevator 15 minutes every single day this week The apartments are pretty dated I know they are in the works of re doing some but please be cautious that even a shiny new apartment will not be worth the long elevator waits the fire alarms water shut offs cockroaches broken hot tubs and more I also have a black mold issue and another previous tenant in the building had a HUGE black mold problem that the management did not care about Cockroaches are everywhere as well I have lived in couple different places in the city and this has been the worst one The location is not worth it The management is incredibly difficult to work with The utilities are high with no explanation They do not allow you to get food deliveries my food deliveries have been left OUTSIDE the building per managements direction Management also sends crazy emails like if you dont pick up your package within 2 days of delivery than we will send it back I have tried to contact management but they have not been helpful or provided actionable steps to fix anything My lease is up in a couple of months but I felt like I needed to say something now because I keep seeing people tour the building and being sold false promises Please please be wise and do not live here Feel free to find me on IG and FB if you would like to discuss more more ... hide ...

I see many of these reviews and Im sad that people had an uncomfortable experience I have only had positive experiences I had a few issues in my bathroom as this will happen in any building and it was immediately taken care of The GM actually contact I see many of these reviews and Im sad that people had an uncomfortable experience I have only had positive experiences I had a few issues in my bathroom as this will happen in any building and it was immediately taken care of The GM actually contacted me to make sure I was satisfied There was also an incident with my heater during the winter and on a Sunday they replaced the entire unit so when I got back from work I was nice and toasty all night I think the response time is appropriate and everyone has been helpful courteous and efficient I really enjoy living here more ... hide ...
