The snow removal team they hire is one of the worst; they only make one pass through the parking lot, creating a narrow passageway for the entire community and piling snow around parked cars. This leaves just a few feet of space for residents to shovel out. They do not even plow the snow when it is fresh and mild, leaving large clumps of snow which freeze overnight, making it impossible for residents to shovel without salting. A plow can only do so much, so why don't they bring in a bobcat to assist with the cleanup if the plow teams are not up to the task? This has been the case for at least four or five snowstorms, so they should be better prepared by now. The trash collection won't even be able to pass through the roads. The only positive thing is the team that shovels (and salts) the sidewalk. The management does not seem to care about the residents, so be cautious. It would be impossible for anyone with a disability to make it from the sidewalk to the parking lot. Fortunately, emergency vehicles have not been called yet; I cannot imagine how they would manage to bring an ambulance or paramedics to the lot. more ... hide ...
