Personally, my experience here was not positive. As soon as I arrived, I showed them my belongings, one of which was a very special knife. Although they do not allow any items on campus, when I said it was important to me to have it back, they said okay, but I never received it. Later, when I asked to borrow a lighter, the same person who had gone through my purse gave me my own lighter from her pocket and confessed it was mine. Additionally, my new pack of cigarettes had vanished. Despite all of this, I stayed for two days, but no one from staff showed me around or explained any rules. I received more help from the women in the same situation as me than from the staff. I did not feel secure or welcomed. There were a few staff members who were friendly and somewhat helpful, but the overall experience was far from satisfactory. They should improve their intake procedure by giving more information about the expectations of the residents and what they can expect from the staff, while doing it in a welcoming way rather than a rushed, dismissive manner. more ... hide ...

I would give it negative Stars if I could I was there less than 24 hours and never had a clue of what was going on theyre too busy talking and being friendly with each other thats in the longterm program to pay attention to the women in detox they al I would give it negative Stars if I could I was there less than 24 hours and never had a clue of what was going on theyre too busy talking and being friendly with each other thats in the longterm program to pay attention to the women in detox they all want to come in dressed up in their little pink clothes acting like theyre the greatest because they are clean for a few months now with not a worry in the world about whats really going on in their face Once my stuff was searched and gone through I was out amongst the other females in detox and found two different drugs that I had put in my cigarette pack earlier was still there I because I wanted to be clean both times took what was in my cigarette pack and gave it to staff to me that was failure I wasnt able to say no and knew that I needed help it took everything I had to try to go get that help and they laughed in my face by not taking their jobs seriously more ... hide ...
