I knocked and called, yet no one answered. A maintenance man unlocked the office door and told me I was early. The maintenance man returned and informed me that I would have to reschedule, as the person I was to meet was feeling ill and going home. I was displeased, as I had taken a 45-minute ride to get there and waited an additional 40 minutes, all for nothing. Was the person ill in the 15 minutes between my arrival and the appointed time?
