My ex-partner and the adult daughter resided in another county from 2003 until December 2012, which is when the daughter returned to her mother. Her mother occupies a two-bedroom unit, despite being the only adult with no dependents. I have various text messages and emails where the daughter boasts of investing $400 for a seven-year-old's birthday. She earns money and does not apply for welfare, SSI, or suggest that three or more families can inhabit a two-bedroom apartment. We suspect the mother is close friends with the manager, which is why these two have been able to swindle the housing system for the last 16 years.
