She folded my screening application up in front of my face, but then continued with the tour. I didn€™t know why she even continued with the tour knowing she wasn€™t going to consider me due to her personal insecurities. I€™m a very attractive young lady and I normally make a lot of heavier women uncomfortable and I definitely got that vibe from her. She kept staring at me and my figure, then made a comment about how she got fat over the years. I had made no comments nor asked any questions about her weight, or anything personal. She volunteered that which let me know she felt some type of way about me. She then proceeded to move forward with the tour knowing she had already trashed my pre application and told me she would not be giving me an application because they were NOT ALLOWED TO GIVE APPLICATIONS OUT FOR FUTURE RESIDENTS. First time ever hearing that. Why even schedule me? We then went on a tour for a one bedroom, in which I WAS going to apply for a two bedroom. She rushed me through not allowing me to see any of the unit amenities, which also was a sign she had no plans of considering me. The hallways were dirty, the elevator was broken. She walked me down a flight of stairs without asking was I comfortable doing so, not knowing if I had fears or anything. The hallway of the stairs smelled of strong urine and when I got to the bottom, there was a lot of urine stained on the floor. She then said call back Tues-Thursday to check for availability, after sharing via email, prior to me coming to the property I would be looking to Move February 1, 2019. Oh yeah after seeing me, she immediately tried to push me to other properties. Move forward however you like, but don€™t expect them to be pleasant.more ...hide ...

My 80 year old mother has been living at The Groves for more than a decade. Each floor has its own laundry and waste disposal room, making it very practical. She enjoys the modern, spotless, and tranquil environment, being only a few minutes from the grocery store, her physicians, the hospital, and the Livermore Outlet Mall, as well as a senior transportation service. As my mother's physical and mental health has deteriorated over the years, the staff and management have been incredibly understanding, providing the best possible care and attention, even though this is not an assisted living facility. Furthermore, someone from the staff often visits her to make sure she has enough food and to provide companionship. The management team has earned my highest regard: they keep me updated on my mom's condition, change her to a room that is more suitable for her, deliver her meals, and much more. Now that we have found her a nursing home, she said she will miss the great time and friends she made at the Groves. We are very grateful to Corina, Andrea, Alma, and all the excellent staff and residents for taking care of my mom.more ...hide ...
